(!) Please note: 8-16th of August is the week of Copenhagen Pride 2026. While it brings a fantastic atmosphere to the city, please be aware that traffic will likely be affected. On Saturday 15th, the parade moves from Frederiksberg City Hall to Copenhagen City Hall in the hours leading up to the wedding. Expect road closures and limited access for taxis in the city center during the afternoon. Please plan your transport accordingly and leave early.
Public Transport
Use Google Maps or Rejseplan to map your routes, and the Rejsebillet app for digital tickets. The Metro runs 24/7, and a ticket from the Airport to the City Center takes around 20 minutes.
Taxi
Uber (preferred) or Dantaxi are the most common apps if you prefer to plan ahead. You can also flag one down on the street (beware of bicycle lanes).
Bike
The best way to get around the city during summer. Approach with confidence. Can be rented at most hotels or via the Donkey Republic app.
